DIY Easter Egg Garland as Easy as 1, 2, 3

Make this festive decoration with your kids

Get crafty and make this fun decoration just in time for Easter this year or wait until after the holiday and use all those leftover plastic eggs! Your kids will enjoy helping you make this!

Supplies Needed:

  • Plastic Easter eggs - about 50-100
  • Yarn, string or lanyard as the garland base
  • Ribbon to decorate
  • Screwdriver

Directions:

  • Poke a small hole in the tip of each egg using the screwdriver - some eggs have holes already, but you might need to make it a little bigger
  • String your garland base through the hole in each egg, creating a string of eggs
  • Drape your newly fashioned egg garland on a mantel, down a staircase, across a bulkhead or in an entryway for decoration

This is a festive and simple way to recycle all those plastic Easter eggs into something fun for your family!
