The holiday season is here, and Christmas is just around the corner—Santa is on his way! There are so many opportunities for your family to visit with Santa this season, from photos ops to special sensory-friendly or pet-friendly photos ops to holiday, breakfast with Santa plus Christmas themed festivities - if you're lucky you might even spot him in a parade or cruising on a boat!

Don’t forget to send your letters to Santa -  you never know, he might just reply! And on December 24th, your family can start to track Santa as he travels the world. However the NORAD Tracks Santa website and app go live December 1, featuring a countdown to Santa’s flight and a new holiday game each day, plus music, activities, and festive fun for kids of all ages.

  • 📮 Letters to Santa - The Commons at Calabasas: Pick up a complimentary postcard at any retailer for your little ones to fill it out. Drop your postcard in Santa’s mailbox, and we’ll send it directly to his workshop. Be sure to include your address so Santa can send you a postcard in return!

Holidays at the Inn 2025 at the Stagecoach Inn Museum

Celebrate the spirit of the season with us on Friday, December 5, 6:30–8:30 pm, and Saturday, December 6, from 1:00–4:00 pm and 6:30–8:30 pm. 

  • Visit Santa on both days, with his reindeer appearing all day Saturday. 
  • The Museum Halls and Grounds will be adorned with festive and historically inspired decorations. 
  • Enjoy the magical nighttime celebrations, featuring a spectacular Tree Lighting ceremony and roving carolers performing classic holiday melodies.
  • Children can participate in holiday crafts, and shoppers will find unique gifts and seasonal items in our Gift Emporium. The festivities promise an immersive holiday experience for all ages.
  • Admission: Adults, Seniors & Teens – $10.00; Children 5–12 – $5.00; Children 4 and under – FREE. Tickets may be purchased at the gate or online at our website.

Experience a traditional European winter festival with us at Holidays in the Village, a European Marketplace. Immerse yourself in the festive warmth of the Holidays as you stroll through our Artisan shops showcasing their wares, sample an array of authentic fresh European foods and baked goods, enjoy a warm mug of mulled wine, Kinderpunsch or specialty crafted brews, and introduce the kids to Kris Kringle’s Village.

Experience the Magic of Santa everyday through December 24, 2024. Santa is located in the JCPenney court. Visits with Santa are Free - photo packages available for purchase.

Pre-Booking your visit is recommended to help reduce wait time. Walk ups welcome every day until closing time. Please Note: Multiple families are scheduled during the selected 15-minute time.

📮 Send a Letter to Santa!

Kids can pick up a free postcard at Santa’s Cottage and jot down their wish list or a cheerful holiday message. Once it’s ready, drop it into Santa’s special mailbox - it travels straight to the North Pole! Make sure to add your home address so Santa can send a postcard back. 📨

Boat Parades

Oak Park Holiday Boat Parade 🚗

Also known in the Oak Park community as "The Boat Parade!" this neighbor-organized, volunteer-run parade can be viewed on select streets throughout Oak Park. The parade starts from its staging area at Oak Park High School on Kanan Road, rain or shine. Participants have been known to toss out small candies or toys — so be ready! While I can’t make any promises, every year we’ve watched, Santa has made a special appearance. Either way, you won’t be disappointed.

My family and I look forward to this event every year, my kids even bring their Halloween pumpkins to gather their candy loot. I will share a little secret; our favorite place to watch the parade go by is from Deerhill Road near the park because the parade goes by twice. Depending on the weather you may need to grab your warmest coat and maybe an umbrella and enjoy this merry holiday tradition. Annually on the Sunday before Christmas, but not Christmas Eve.
