It’s time for the tournament that changes lives!! We are excited to announce that the LucStrong Spring Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser is back! We are incredibly thankful to everyone who has supported us in the past as we strive to help children who are fighting sickle cell disease - SCD.
Playing pickleball is fun but playing pickleball for a cause is even better! This tournament truly changes lives by helping families with children fighting SCD through grants that assist with medical bills and other critical needs. Our goal is to raise $26,000 to help 13 families and with your help we can absolutely do it!
The tournament includes:
- Men’s doubles
- Women’s doubles
- Mixed doubles
- Men’s singles
- Women’s singles
- Beginner's scramble for players rated between 2.5–2.75
Skill levels range from 3.0 to 4.0+. This is a DUPR-rated tournament, and the Swish App will be used to enhance gameplay and scoring throughout the event.

A Message from The LucStrong Foundation
This is the tournament that changes lives! This tournament is a fundraiser that honors me and my wife’s son Luc who died at the age of 10 due to sickle cell disease - SCD. We now help other sickle cell warriors like him.
All registration fees will go to The LucStrong Foundation which is a non-profit we started to help children fighting SCD. We’re partnered with 17 children’s hospitals including CHLA, City of Hope and UCLA Mattel. We provide grants to families in need to help them with their medical bills, rent, food, transportation, and other critical needs.
