Please Note: Check the safety rules for each park. They all require safety equipment to be work - including helmets and pads, adults must supervise younger kids, skateboarding / skating only allowed in designated areas, some skate areas closed during park programs - check location for details, no motorized equipment allowed, no skating allowed after hours. Most parks will close when surface is wet. Some parks are skateboarding only while many do allow other activities like non-motorized scooters, roller / inline skates, wheelchairs and some even allow bikes - check site for details. Observers must stay outside of the skating area. Please be kind to others and follow the park rules. 

Borchard Skatepark

Open to the public daily:  Closed during some recreational and after-school programs and camps

  • Enjoy over 9,000 square feet for skateboarding, scooter riding, and BMX bikes with ledges, banks, rails, a hubba, and a quarter pipe.

Thousand Oaks Teen Center - Skatepark

This Skatepark is the newest addition to the recently renovated Thousand Oaks Teen Center. This state-of-the-art skate park provides a safe and exciting environment for teens to skate with a variety of obstacles and challenges for skaters of all levels. It's staffed by experienced and knowledgeable skate park attendants, perfect for a seasoned skater or someone just starting out, it provides a great place to practice skills and connect with local skaters.

Classes offered for beginning and intermediate skaters or teens looking to learn or improve their skateboarding skills taught by experienced skate instructors. View current session offerings -  search keyword 'skate.' Call for open skate hours and information.

Westlake Village Skate Park

Open daily from dawn to dusk - closed when the Skate Park surface is wet

  • This park features a large bowl and plaza for skateboards, roller skates, inline skates, non-motorized scooters, bikes, and wheelchairs - all other devices are prohibited.

Skateboarding Hall of Fame and Museum + Skateboard Shop

Did you know the World’s First Skateboarding Museum is local and nearby at the Simi Valley Town Center? Consider taking your kids to see 10,000 square feet of everything skateboarding plus it's free. Also inside the Museum is a small, but fun indoor Skatepark with a fun mini ramp, they are a full service skateboard shop, and they offer in-house skateboarding lessons to beginners ages 4 and up. Private tours available, call for information.

From their website: The Skateboarding Hall of Fame was created to honor the passion and dedication to skateboarding–and contributions to its history and culture–by pro skateboarders and industry / cultural icons throughout the decades. The Museum is free to the public and one feature inside is one of the largest Lookback Library’s in existence.
